Extract from the article published in PROMOCJE 2007 catalogue:
I first saw the exhibition when the works were not signed - thus I didn't know the names of the authors and I couldn't associate the young artists with their parent universities. Yhis fact has significantly contributed to the structure of this present text, because, after the deliberations of the jury, I could add "decoded" data next to my comments made "on the spot" duryng the first contact with the exhibition.
(..)My attention was also attracted by a completely different piece of work. "composed of" a depeated series of the name "Paulina". This multiplied name - written, as a matter of fact, in small letters - placed against a warm, yellow and orange background, constitutes the fundamental content and form. Here and there placed darker numbers "organize" the composition of the picture. This is a tribute to Roman Opalka, or perhaps artistic polemics with him? Or maybe Gombrowicz's "monday - me, Tuesday - me" etc., which doesn't necessarily mean egocentrism, maybe only or too well ..solitude. (Author: Paulina Kwasow, Academy of fine arts in Warsaw, diploma:2006).(...)

P.S. Writing this text I didn't know the verdict of the contest commitee and regardless of assessment and awards, I wish all young artists a lot of creative success.
Paulina Kwasow was also given an honorable mention from the jury of the contest for a different painting: http://www.kwasow.com/squares.html , pictured on a page of trhe catalogue:
